Context: post-production of the documentary short Lapo Chapé

For the documentary short film Lapo Chapé, the production team needed post-production support to complete the film and give it visual and narrative coherence. Lapo Chapé explores the themes of skin colour and mixed heritage from a fresh angle, through a series of testimonies that reveal the invisible influences of History on our social representations, influences that still shape our own sense of identity today.

Intended for theatrical screenings and festivals, the film required precise editing and image work to structure the story and ensure consistent visual quality across the different shoots.

Our work: editing and colour grading

Eklepsis handled the film's post-production, taking charge of both editing and colour grading. The edit shaped the story and gave the documentary its rhythm, while putting the testimonies and the themes they raise front and centre. Colour grading then unified footage from the various shoots to achieve a consistent look, ready for the big screen.

This post-production phase delivered a finished film, ready to be screened in professional and cultural settings.
