Context: a music video against bullying

As part of its awareness work with young people, the city of Poissy, through its youth department, launched a socially engaged artistic project around the fight against bullying. The idea was to let teenagers speak about the subject directly, through a medium that belongs to them: music.

That is how "Juste un ado" ("Just a teenager") was born, a track written and performed by a group of young people, addressing with sincerity the emotions, doubts and difficulties teenagers can face when confronted with bullying. Designed as an awareness tool, the project aimed to give a voice to those most concerned while creating a concrete work that could be shared with other young people.

To support the initiative and put their message into images, the city of Poissy asked our team to direct a music video true to the authenticity and commitment of the participants.

Our work: directing and producing a socially engaged music video

Eklepsis handled the video from shooting through post-production. The shoot was designed to showcase the young artists while visually illustrating the themes carried by the song.

We aimed for a result that is both polished and sincere, alternating performance scenes with illustrative shots that support the lyrics. The edit follows the rhythm of the track and reinforces the emotional impact of its message.

The video is both an artistic project and an awareness tool, carrying a strong message about bullying while celebrating the creativity and voice of the young people who made it.
